lang_en 19. March 2012 - 21. March 2012, RAMADA Hotel Berlin-Alexanderplatz

Welcome to the European Knowledge Network!

The European Academy for Taxes, Economics & Law is delighted to announce the

“7th European Annual Symposium EU Funds 2012”

This annual forum brings together around 500 EU Funds practitioners from all over Europe and encourages an exchange of knowledge, experience and best practice between EU Institutions and Member States.

With its unique character this European Symposium provides an insight in red-hot EU Funds issues from a strategic as well as from a programme and project management perspective.

The year 2012 is the right time to look at the achievements of the EU Funds to date, to analyse the on-going implementation in more depth, to proceed with the necessary financial control activities as well as to undertake additional measures to ensure a full absorption of the available funds. This 7th European Annual Symposium EU Funds 2012 will thus address the key issues for an improved management and implementation of EU Funds in the current period as well as the future challenges and how to face these. The question on how to optimise the management and to intensify the implementation of EU Funds is at the heart of the current and the future EU funding. The Symposium will focus on a variety of important topics that arise from the day-to-day implementation of the EU Funds in terms of improvements that can still be made in this period and lessons learnt for the next period. It brings about the discussion on to which extend the structural goals have been achieved so far as well as on how to conclude the financial control activities of the ongoing projects more efficiently. Furthermore, it will not only address the challenges of the next programming period, but also how to mobilise all involved parties to get prepared on time for a successful use of funds available from 2014.
